I love being in nature. Leaves, flowers, trees, corals, sea shells, geodes… they inspire me deeply . I create my pieces to bring my memories of spending so much of my childhood in contact with the natural world around me. I used to play in the ocean’s tidal pools to collect sea objects, to fish, and to admire nature in front of our beach house in Salvador, Brazil.
