Cristiana Prado, MA, MFA
Cristiana was born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Her sense of identity has been formed fundamentally by her relationship to her native culture. While living in Brazil, she graduated with a degree in architecture – which she feels gave her a good foundation as an artist. After moving to the United States, she obtained her art degrees and started her career as a professor and artist.
During her career, Cristiana has exhibited her ceramic pieces in Brazil and the United States: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Virginia, Texas, and Nevada. She participated in on-line shows, has been the recipient of a few awards, and remains very active in her local art community.
